Edinburgh **，为奥运！！！                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        We are organising a street demonstration to support Beijing Olympicsand protest against the use of violence to disrupt Olympics.

OlympicGames is a festival for all the people of the world. Olympicflame is asymbol of peace and harmony. We are proud of China being thehost ofthis year's Olympics.

In recent days, when violence escalated onthe streets of Tibet, andordinary people's life were threaten byriotous mobs, we are dismayed towitness numerous instances ofdistortion of facts by some politicalgroups and the misreporting bysome media organisations.

We want to use this peacefuldemonstration to let people of Scotland andbeyond know our support ofBeijing Olympics. Peace, not violence,participation, not disruption,should be the spirit everyone inspiresto. We are strongly against anyattempt that hijacks Olympics forpolitics.

We also want touse this opportunity to express our sorrow for the loseof life inTibet and anger against the violence stirred up by someTibetanseparatist groups.

We are proud of Olympics and proud of China.

We are calling Chinese students, members of Chinese communities in Scotland to join us!

The demonstration will be held on
Saturday 12 April 2008

Proposed route:
Edinburgh Castle→Lawnmarket→The Mount→Prince Street→St John’s Church

The demonstration will start at 11am in front of Edinburgh Castle.
